Moore House Care & Education

Our referral process is very much influenced by our practice base, aiming to provide the best possible service for a young person.

An initial discussion is required to ensure the needs of a young person can be met within any service we currently have a vacancy in.

Ensuring a young person is placed within an environment suited to their needs is very import to us.

Referrals to Moore House Care & Education are invited from social workers, educational psychologists and/or any other professional acting on behalf of a local authority.

We aim to offer adaptable/bespoke services within all our services, therefore following the initial discussion, if a placement can be offered we would request as much information on the young person as can be given.

Although emergency placements can at times be accommodated, a planned admission process allowing the young person and their parents/carers and any professionals working with the young person to be part of the process is preferred.

Initial conversations should be held with a member of our Senior Management Team on 01506 652312.

Out of hours referrals will be taken by the on-call manger for the services.
