Property Maintenance Assistant
Moore House Care & Education provides residential education and support to vulnerable young people.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated Property Maintenance Assistant to take ownership and responsibility for the upkeep, maintenance and caretaking of our new site at Butterstone House School, Dunkeld. This post is initially for a 6-month period.
The role requires a broad knowledge and skills of general maintenance and grounds maintenance.
The successful candidate should have a high degree of integrity, coupled with a flexible, strong work ethic, prepared to work outside routine working hours in the case of emergencies.
This is an interesting and varied role with a high degree of satisfaction.
You must have previous caretaking / maintenance / handyperson experience, and have the ability to work alone using your own initiative when necessary. You must be physically fit and able to carry out the requirements of the role.
A clean driving licence is required and access to a car with business insurance is desirable.

An interest in showing your skills to our young people is encouraged and experiences in a similar setting would be desirable.
