Patricia Sheridan

Founder & Managing Director

Mrs Sheridan established Moore House School in 1988 as a consequence of her experience as a Social Worker.

Director

Lee provides support and direction to the strategic plans with an emphasis on the areas of his expertise.

Julie Hughes

Finance Director

Julie was Finance Director with the first after school care project in Livingston from 1998 to 2006. She joined Moore House in 1988.

Elaine McSeveney

PA to Board of Directors

Elaine joined Moore House in 2010 as Admin Supervisor, and moved to her current PA to CEO/Board of Directors post in 2016.

Anne Gibson

Director of Development

Anne previously worked for over 13 years as Her Majesty’s Inspector of Education with HMIE and Education Scotland.

Stephen Drysdale

Director of Children's Services

Stephen is responsible for the overall management of the services provided by The Dynamic Partnership, in line with the strategic objectives established by the Board of Directors.

Alan Thomson

Senior Manager for Education

Alan is passionate about children in Care, working closely with all stake holders to ensure positive experiences and destinations

Gary Greenshields

Senior Manager Residential Care Services

Gary joined Moore house in February 2016 to oversee the opening of a new two bedded home which has the flexibility to meet the needs of young people effectively. Prior to this he worked as a unit manager with Falkirk Council for five years in a five bedded children’s home where he helped develop a single bedroom flat to help young people make the transition from residential care to independent living.

Donna Carvill

Senior Manager JMT Care Services

Donna has worked in social work since 1989 and been a social worker since 1996. She has always worked with children and families with a focus on child protection.

Mhairi MacRaild

Senior Manager, Strategy

Mhairi is delighted to be taking up her new role with Moore House Care and Education as Senior Manager for Strategy and taking forward her passion for supporting young people to be the best they can be.

Ashley believes that every young person should have the chance to achieve their potential within education and be supported to succeed as young adults.

Donna believes that working with children is an important way to ensure that those young children develop the right behaviours to take with them as they grow older.

Alastair Wilkinson

Principal Teacher & Science Teacher

Alastair has been associated with Moore House for nearly 19 years. Although a fully qualified secondary school teacher Alastair actually started as a relief care worker in our Coach House provision before joining the school as the science teacher.

Nigel Temple

Nigel has been a mathematics teacher at Moore House Care and Education since 2015, having previously taught in the mainstream sector at Balfron High School, Stirling.

Iain joined Moore House Care and Education in 2016.
He brings with him a wealth of experience, ranging back over a long and rewarding, 33 year career in education.

Rosalind Scott

Special Needs Support Assistant

Rosalind joined the staff of Moore House School as an additional support needs assistant, in August 2017. Prior to this she worked for nine years supporting young people with their learning in a mainstream secondary school.

Stephanie Hillman

Psychological Services and Intervention (PSI) Manager

Stephanie McQuillan is a psychology graduate with a background in education and social care prior to joining Moore House.

Adam McDiarmid

Psychological Services and Intervention (PSI) Worker

Adam graduated with an Honours degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Stirling in 2013 followed by the MSc in Child Development.

Grace Mustapha

Psychological Services and Intervention (PSI) Worker

Since graduating from the University of Stirling with an honours degree in Psychology Grace has accumulated a variety of experience in education and residential care services.

Bob Donnelly

Consultant Psychologist

Bob was educated at Strathclyde, Dundee and Glasgow Universities. Qualified as a teacher in 1971 and worked at Gillburn Primary School in Dundee.

Edwina Grant

DDP Consultant, Practitioner and Trainer

Edwina has over thirty years experience of working with children and families in a range of contexts from residential care to family therapy.

Prior to joining Moore House Care and Education, Jo’s background was in early years childcare where she gained extensive experience and skills through working in various areas including nurseries and as a nanny.

Gemma believes that with support and encouragement, we can play a key role in shaping and changing the lives of the young people that we care for.

Kirsty joined the day service team in early 2018, where she believes every young person is an individual and deserves the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Jill supports past and current Moore House and JMT Fostering young people to promote their independent journeys.

Jeannie Gray

CLD Worker

Jeannie has been involved in youth work from her early teenage years. After leaving school, Jeannie continued within the youth work setting and went from being a volunteer to a paid worker in 2006 at the age of 17.

About Us

Moore House Care & Education was established in 1988 to work with young people who have experienced real challenges in life and has continued to develop to meet the changing needs of young people.
