Founder & Managing Director

Mrs Sheridan established Moore House School in 1988 as a consequence of her experience as a Social Worker.

Director

Lee provides support and direction to the strategic plans with an emphasis on the areas of his expertise.

Julie Hughes

Finance Director

Julie was Finance Director with the first after school care project in Livingston from 1998 to 2006. She joined Moore House in 1988.

Elaine McSeveney

PA to Board of Directors

Elaine joined Moore House in 2010 as Admin Supervisor, and moved to her current PA to CEO/Board of Directors post in 2016.

Anne Gibson

Chief Executive Officer

Anne Gibson joined us as Chief Executive in August 2015. Anne previously worked for over 13 years as Her Majesty’s Inspector of Education with HMIE and Education Scotland.

Stephen Drysdale

Senior Manager for Children's Planning and Psychological Services

Stephen is responsible for psychological assessment, intervention, consultation and training across The Dynamic Partnership services.

Olwynne Clark

Senior Manager for Education

Olwynne is passionate about making a difference and is committed to improving outcomes for children and young people through staff training and development.

Donna Carvill

Senior Manager JMT Care Services

Donna has worked in social work since 1989 and been a social worker since 1996. She has always worked with children and families with a focus on child protection.

Gary Greenshields

Acting Deputy Senior Manager

Gary joined Moore house in February 2016 to oversee the opening of a new two bedded home which has the flexibility to meet the needs of young people effectively.

Melanie Anderson

Service Manager Granby Avenue

Melanie joined the organisation in 2002 as a Child Care Worker. Within 6 months Melanie was a confident and competent Key Worker.

Jason Sinicki

Acting Service Manager Buchanan House

Jason has many years experience working in the statutory and third sector, supporting children and people who experience difficulties in their own and family lives.

Louise Cushen

Assistant Service Manager

Louise was promoted to the post of Assistant Service Manager in 2016. Louise’s career in care began after leaving school and working with elderly within a residential setting.

Senior Manager for Education

Olwynne is passionate about making a difference and is committed to improving outcomes for children and young people through staff training and development.

Alastair Wilkinson

Principal Teacher & Science Teacher

Alastair has been associated with Moore House for nearly 19 years. Although a fully qualified secondary school teacher Alastair actually started as a relief care worker in our Coach House provision before joining the school as the science teacher.

Nigel Temple

Teacher

Nigel has been a mathematics teacher at Moore House Care and Education since 2015, having previously taught in the mainstream sector at Balfron High School, Stirling.

Iain Dow

Teacher

Iain joined Moore House Care and Education in 2016.
He brings with him a wealth of experience, ranging back over a long and rewarding, 33 year career in education.

Liam Murphy

Started at Moore House in April 2016 after having taught in a CAHMS unit, mainstream and secure schools.

Andrea Brown

Learning Coordinator

Andrea joined Moore House in 2015 and works mainly with our most disengaged young people on a one-to-one basis, both within the residential home setting and within the school building.

Stephanie McQuillan

Senior Psychological Services and Intervention (PSI) Worker

Stephanie McQuillan is a psychology graduate with a background in education and social care prior to joining Moore House.

Adam McDiarmid

Psychological Services and Intervention (PSI) Worker

Adam graduated with an Honours degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Stirling in 2013 followed by the MSc in Child Development.

Edwina Grant

DDP Consultant, Practitioner and Trainer

Edwina has over thirty years experience of working with children and families in a range of contexts from residential care to family therapy.

Bob Donnelly

Consultant Psychologist

Bob was educated at Strathclyde, Dundee and Glasgow Universities. Qualified as a teacher in 1971 and worked at Gillburn Primary School in Dundee.

Practitioner

Prior to joining Moore House Care and Education, Jo’s background was in early years childcare where she gained extensive experience and skills through working in various areas including nurseries and as a nanny.

Jeannie Gray

Practitioner

When Jeannie was 13 years old and in high school, she was asked to join a group from her guidance teacher. Jeannie’s name had been put forward because she had very low self confidence and was very shy.

Jill supports past and current Moore House and JMT Fostering young people to promote their independent journeys.

Scott Porteous

JMT In Touch Worker

Scott promotes independent living through the delivery of JASS, Dynamic Youth and Youth Achievement Awards.
