Education Services

Registration and Inspection

We look forward to inspections and best value reviews as they help to steer our thinking and assist us in our process of continual self-evaluation and service development. Our services are registered with both the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care (Care Commission) and Her Majesty's Inspectors of Education (HMIe).

Inspectors have identified a number of key strengths across the disciplines including a hard-working and committed staff team, high morale, and a strong commitment to the care and safety of young people. Pastoral care, partnership with parents, a wide range of out of school activities and the broader achievements of our young people were also commended.

All aspects of our care service met or exceeded the required national care standards.

Within the education service, a good range of curricular opportunities and access to national qualifications was identified, along with strong curricular and vocational guidance and support for learning.
Copies of the latest report are available on the HMIe website
