About Moore HouseLocationThe school is situated on the outskirts of Bathgate, about half a mile from Junction 3A on the M8, almost equidistant from Glasgow and Edinburgh. There is a regular train service to Edinburgh and buses to both major cities. The school is close to the local secondary school, and to shops, leisure centre and swimming pool. We are conveniently located for the central belt of Scotland, but will accept referrals from the whole country. Our location is particularly important in helping us devise flexible, needs-led programmes of care and education for young people. Day pupils commute by taxi from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling, and we provide transport on Fridays and Mondays to both Glasgow and Edinburgh to facilitate home leave for residents.
How to Find Us: BY CAR: Exit Junction 3A from M8, follow signs for A89 to Bathgate. Moore House is on the left hand side, 400 metres past the Jet garage, diagonally opposite Bathgate Academy.
